Our Clinical Philosophy

A holistic approach, rooted in health

At Nurture Body Therapy, we believe true wellbeing begins with understanding the whole person. Our approach is rooted in health, professional healthcare experience and the understanding that physical and emotional wellbeing are deeply connected. Every treatment begins with listening. We take the time to understand how you are feeling, your health history, your individual needs and what you hope to achieve from your treatment. From there, each session is thoughtfully tailored to support you as an individual — whether you are seeking relief from muscular tension, support through pregnancy or postnatal recovery, lymphatic support, relaxation, or simply time to reconnect with yourself. Our therapies combine evidence-informed healthcare principles with holistic practice, drawing on Kim’s background as a Registered Nurse and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, alongside her training in holistic massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage, cupping and complementary therapies. We believe treatment should be more than addressing a single symptom. It is about nurturing the body, calming the mind and creating the space to support your overall health and wellbeing.

Kim Homewood, RN

Clinical Director, Reflexologist, Massage Therapist & Registered Nurse

Hi, I'm Kim

A mum of three, a farmer’s wife, and someone who loves the simple things in life — sunshine, being outdoors, Pilates, good food, and time spent with family and friends. Life in our family is beautifully soft, wonderfully busy and often a little chaotic, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My journey in holistic therapy began in 2008, when I qualified in Holistic Massage and Beauty Therapy. I went on to work in luxury spas, salons and as a mobile practitioner, developing my skills and learning from experienced therapists along the way.

My passion for caring for people also led me into nursing. I completed my Children’s Nursing Degree, specialising in Neonatal Care, before progressing into Specialist Community Public Health Nursing. My nursing career has given me the privilege of supporting children and families through some of life’s most important moments, and has shaped the way I think about health and wellbeing.

I believe health is about so much more than simply being physically “well”. Our physical health, emotional wellbeing, experiences and environment are all connected, and I believe we deserve care that recognises the whole person.

This is at the heart of Nurture Body Therapy.

I bring together my clinical healthcare experience and holistic therapy training to offer thoughtful, personalised treatments that are rooted in health. Every treatment begins with listening — understanding how you are feeling, what your body needs and how you would like to feel when you leave.

For me, holistic therapy is about creating a space to pause, reconnect and nurture yourself.

I feel incredibly privileged to welcome you to Nurture Body Therapy.

Our Core Pillars

Nurturing Care

Using gentle techniques and safe essential oils, we relieve common areas of tension and discomfort during and after pregnancy, encouraging deep relaxation and wellbeing.

Focused Recovery

Our lymphatic drainage treatments are designed to help reduce fluid retention, puffiness, and swelling in the lower legs and ankles, supporting the body's natural healing process.

Postnatal Support

We provide dedicated time for mothers to rest and be nurtured, tailoring treatments to ease tension from feeding and holding while supporting the transition into motherhood.

Nervous System Support

Treatments focussed on health and healing

Meditation and breathwork

I truly believe that healing begins when the nervous system feels safe. When we slow down, breathe deeply and create space for stillness, the body becomes more open to rest, repair and healing. Incorporating meditation and breathwork into my treatments feels like a natural next step in creating a truly holistic experience.

Currently training with the European Meditation Institute (EMI). Meditation-led treatments will join the booking menu once Kim qualifies.
